Food Tasting @ NANA GREEN TEA

When i first received the media invitation for this complimentary food tasting session, i got pretty excited becos this is my first time visiting this Japanese restaurant and what's more, i am a big fan of matcha green tea and that include matcha green tea ice cream as well!

Nana's Green Tea is very conveniently located @ Plaza Singapura @ level 3
(in the middle of the new extension)
#03-80/82

Opening hours:Monday-Sunday: 1100-2200, last order: 2130

Looking through the menu in excitement!

I invited my bf fiance along becos i know he love japanese food and also a fan for desserts, we were extremely thrilled to visit this jap restaurant that we never been to before.

They have a wide range of drinks for you to choose from and i had this Matcha Traditional Japanese Matcha Green Tea served as an espresso!

Dear had this Uji-matcha latte and it was sooooo good!
It wasn't very sweet, right amount of sweetness and i can't help to sip again and again!

Let's begin with the appetizers!

We had a hard time deciding on which appetizer to choose and finally settle with Salmon Carpaccio and Ebi Fried Prawns.

Salmon Carpaccio - $8.80

They are pretty generous with the salmons and every sliced of the salmon served to us are of decent thickness and it looked so refreshing to me! :)

I'm a major fan of salmon and i'm really glad that they have this dish in their menu.
MY FAVOURITE DISH OF ALL!

EBI Fried prawns - $6.80 which was also pretty good in my opinion! I enjoyed the freshness of the prawns and i like how it was served with chilli sauce. Definitely one of the appetizer i will order again when i'm going visit again! :)

Here comes our two main dishes : Locomoko Don - $15.80
Dear is always a fan of beef and he ordered this immediately without looking at other choices! haha
The sauce that comes with the Beef Patty was so delicious and no wonder this dish deserved 3 stars on the menu ;)

Chicken Teriyaki Don - $13.80

As for my main, i ordered this chicken teriyaki don and the chicken is so tender and its really easy to chew and i like how it goes well with a half boiled egg. This was quite yummy and i really enjoyed it! :)

And now its time for the DESSERTS which i have been waiting for! :D

Decided to try Matcha Shiratama Parfait $11.80 since it claimed to be one of the highly recommended main dessert !

We were not disappointed at all and it is as yummy as you see on the pics below!
I'm a really huge fan of matcha ice cream and i think i had more than half of this myself! Heee
I love the matcha ice cream taste, not too sweet, really rich in taste!
The generous layers of corn flakes goes really well with the vanilla ice cream and red bean paste. YUMMYYYY!!!

THUMBS UP FOR THIS!

We ordered this as well served in a form of porridge with Azuki beans served with mochi and matcha ice cream ($8.80) again! heh

Throughout the course of this meal, we were served by very efficient staff and the food served were really fast and we didn't wait very long for all the dishes to be served. Another thumbs up for the fast and efficient service provided! :)

I would really love to visit Nana's Green Tea again especially for their Salmon, green tea latte and not to forget their DESSERTS! Really glad to see the prices are so reasonably priced given that the standard of the food is pretty good !

Now i can't wait to bring my gfs along for a dinner @ nana's green tea!
Bet they will definitely love the desserts over there!

Thank you Cecilia for the kind invite !

Love,
Jamie
