HK Travelogue 6th to 14th April'13

Such a fulfilling long weekend and its the end of my break today. Decided to take a break today and which is why there's no launch today and it will be launch on Tuesday instead. Stay tune to our full sneaks previews uploading tomorrow on FB! :)

Gonna blog about my HK travelogue Day one now and i know it was overdue for more than 1 month plus :/

The main purpose of this HK trip is for my Pre-wedding shoot and we took SIA for our flight.

Love SIA and i always hope that the flight duration could be longer so that i can complete all the movies that i have been wanting to watch during my free time.

Woke up really early to catch the morning flight.

The first thing we do after we touched down is to get data plan for our phones! I cannot live without internet and furthermore i will be in HK for almost 1 week. 

You can get the sim card from teleco shop name 1010 and the data plan is unlimited for 7 days approx $16 and its really worth it in my opinion! Thanks goodness our hotel provides WIFI as well ;)

We took Airport express from the airport and alight at Kowloon Station and took a shuttle bus directly to our hotel - BP International located at Jordan.

Damn fast, the whole journey took approx 30 mins, one of the cheapest alternative to travel to the hotel.

Headed out for our first meal in HK right after we checked in our hotel.

We wanted to try Tim Ho Wan, the outlet at Mongkok but its so disappointing that this outlet is no longer available in Mongkok anymore. We didn't know that and keep on walking and walking to find it using our GPS map until a passer-by told us that they have moved to Shen Shui Po.

Ended up, we were too hungry and tired by then and we just find any restaurant to have our first meal.

The food isn't that nice at it seems to be and i didn't finish my noodles as well. 

Glad that HK street food  makes up for it! :)

Hanging around Mongkok to search for nail salons to fix my nails for my shoot.

Its pretty hard to find decent nail salons at mongkok, i would suggest to go to causeway bay if you are going for mani/pedi in HK! There's many nail salons over there and i only get to realize it after my shoot. :(

I love how happening Mongkok streets are even if it is already 11pm in the night.

Ended the day pretty early as we are really tired after the flight and we got to wake up early the next day for gown fitting and our appt is 11am.

I was so looking forward to the gown fitting and i will blog about it in the next entry!

SICK ;(

Fell terribly sick since last thursday night after my flight back to singapore.

Sigh, it must be due to the bad weather and bad air pollution over there.

Until now, i'm still coughing like a mad woman. Spent the whole of yesterday at home doing nothing but sleeping becos i'm having headache the whole day and it is so terrible that sleeping is the only solution to it.

Today, i'm feeling much better just that sometimes i will cough and within these 2 days, i lost 2 kg.

haha is it a good thing?

I just run through the whole of HK album pictures that i took and its TOO many!

i need to filter out and blog soon!

This coming saturday is the day when my parents meet my bf's parents and also in regards to the bride price!

i'm so nervous. hahaha first time in my life. =O 

Counting down 5 more months to my BIG DAY!

Home Based Salon

Its fridayyyy night and i'm all alone at home now wandering what's my bf doing outside now with his group of friends! :(

Anyway, today i spent the whole afternoon doing up my hair and finally i done hair rebonding!

I have been wanting to rebond my hair since like 3-4 months ago but due to my pre-wedding shoot last month, i have to postpone my hair appt. 

I didn't want my hair to become frizzy due to the intensive spraying and perming during shoot, hence i choose to rebond after the shoot! Glad i managed to survive my super messy hair till now with the help of tying my hair and pining it up!

Have you heard of home based hair salon?

This is my second time been there and i'm a happy returned customer!

Ivy is doing this full time from Mon to Fri and her appt is always so full approx 10 customers per day! :O

You will need to book an appt in advance especially if you are going to do hair rebonding cos it will takes approx 3-4 hours for longer hair length like mine.

I love how the rebonded hair looks so natural straight and smooth. You know some salons will rebond till its damn straight and the hair will tend to stick on your face which i dislike about it. Hence, Ivy is able to do the level of straightness i want and most importantly, my hair will not get spoilt after the whole rebonding process!

For my case, my hair will still remain straight after 1.5 yrs depending how fast your hair grows. 

Plus there's treatment inclusive as well ! 

Everything in total cost $60 and Ivy is really kind and she trust all her customers. If you didn't bring enough cash, you can just transfer to her when u are free even after you left her house.

I managed to take a mirror shot while she is blowing my hair.

There's packet drink for you too! :P

Of course, don't expect the place to be air conditioned. The furniture is a little old but its okie!

You will also need to sit on the chair and lean backwards when she is washing your hair. It doesn't matters me alot as long as the rebonding is good and what's more its cheap so i can't expect too much from a home based salon.

If you are wondering how i get to know this home based salon, its recommended by my sis and she read it and got the information from a forum and its highly raved in the forum and hence we tried it out!

Went down to town earlier on to meet Valerie for dinner and she came with a good piece of news for me! hahaha !

All will happen in the month of October! Shuang Xi ling Men lo!

Had our dinner @ TCC and the potato wedges is so good, better than my mini crayfish spaghetti! :(

And we went for desserts @ Paris Baguette !

Ordered the must order royal pudding and we chose the original and caramel favours.

My only wish is that the bottle can be bigger so that i can have more :D

Its too good and i can have it everydayyyy!

Feeling very sleepy today and i almost doze off while rebonding this afternoon.

Shall turn in early today and have a fabbbb weekend !

Labour Day!

hey guys! I hope everyone are having a good mid week break and its a day worth spending with your loved ones! I spent the whole night yesterday uploading new products to our website and slept at 2am. Surprisingly, i'm pretty much awake now and i'm gonna blog about my weekend! :D

Finally met up with Ester on Saturday afternoon and we had our lunch @ Long John! Its been so long since i had it ! Managed to catch up with her that day and i would like to congrats her as she is doing her own business now. How capable! :D

It was a short meet up @ compass point and definitely there will be more to come soon!

Love catching up with my friends during the weekend.

Went to meet my bf as he wanted to change his tyres and rim and it costs almost $1k in total :O

I had no idea why guys are so willing to spend the money on cars :/

15 mins and its done!

Wanted to catch ironman @ cineleisure but all the seats are all taken and we catch another movie instead. Tea break @ Shokudu and this is where we go to whenever we need to wait for the movie to start.

Camwhoring while waiting for the food! I'm wearing an upcoming Embroidery on Shoulder Top in Yellow and i'm so loving this piece! Gonna keep another color neon green for myself before the launch tonight.

After the movie, i decided to bring my bf to a Japanese restaurant located along cuppage road and the japanese food was so good and the price is so reasonable as well!

For this set meal below, it cost $20 only! Still got sashimi also!

 I had this teriyaki chicken set meal and its costs $15, pretty worth it!

Here's how the restaurant looks like and we are really lucky that there's isn't any queue when we were there.

Sunday was spent meeting Aloy for lunch and we had teppanyaki!

At the rate i'm eating, i doubt i'm able to slim down soon :<

I was wearing happy daisy monochrome top that day and it also comes in pink color as well!

Spending the rest of the sunday watching stars awards and verifying payments for our sales post! :)

Went to KK hospital on Monday morning for check up and i need to head back again in June for another scan :(

Met up with Apple and Audrey after my work and its been so long since i met Audrey, approx 3-4 yrs i guess? :O

I was one of the victim stucked in the north south line from Cityhall to Orchard Mrt and it took me 40 mins to travel between these stations. So annoying and there's so many people squeezing at the same time. Oh Well~~~

And i'm terribly late because of this, reached Paradise Dynasty @ 8pm and i'm damn famished by then.

Such a satisfying meal @ paradise dynasty, probably because i'm too hungry!

I'm wearing an upcoming floral romper launching tonight.

I'm a romper lover and its definitely a keeper for me. August kept this piece for herself too! :D
