Company Trip to HCM (12th to 14th Nov)

Finally manage to upload all the photos to my desktop and FB! 

I'm glad that the pictures turn out pretty good despite using a digicam instead of dslr, am really glad that i made the right choice and didn't bring along my dslr!

Its coming to year end and as usual there will be company trips every year. This year, we will be travelling to Vietnam, my very first time boarding a plane with my colleagues, feels good and safe being with them! :)

We were told to report at Terminal 2 at 8am sharp and almost everyone was there on time.

Hello Ho Chi Minh! :D

Our group was lead by their local tour guide and another tour guide from Singapore. The good thing travelling by tour is there will be a coach bringing you everywhere instead of taking public transport.

We were all amazed by the thousands of motorists on the road and were told by the tour guide that they need not have a license to ride a bike and a bike only cost USD 400. Damn cheap right? 

And all the vietnamese girls like to marry to foreigners. 

Our first stop was to lunch at Liberty Restaurant (Vietnamese Set) before we check in to our hotel since our check in time is 2pm.

We transfer to our hotel right after lunch and we were so excited to head down to Ben Thanh Market!

Pretty good location and its just next to Ben Thanh Market and the best thing is there is free wifi!!!

Its a major need for me as i need to wadapp with my bf telling him how am i doing over there :*)

After settle down for few minutes, we formed a small group ourselves and headed to the market.

You can find lots of good buys in the market like slippers, heels, dryfit running outfits, straw bags, fedoras, coffee, nuts etc at cheap prices. Remember to bargain if you happen to be there next time as they mark up the price like 3x to 4x. 

At around 630pm, we report to our hotel lobby for our buffet dinner on Deluxe Bonsai Cruise.

Dinner ended at about 11pm and we were dead beat by then. 

Fell asleep immediately after washing up and the next day is more to an excursion day! :D

Went for my dental appt in the morning and i was told by Dr Boey that my braces might be able to remove after CNY! BIG YAY! :D :D

Have been waiting for this day and its like finally! Will be taking X-rays during my next appt which is around Jan'10. Hope everything goes smoothly!

Updates!

This week is going to be a week of horror mainly because my exam results will be released THIS THURSDAY!

Damn scared and I got no confident in passing for 2 papers. Hope miracle will happen this time.

In a wink of any eye, it’s going to be December and soon school re-open will commence. Time really flies. December is a month of festive seasons and Shirlyn and I will be the birthday girls! :D

It’s a BIG day for my sis as she is turning 21st on the 10th of Dec! Unfortunately, she got a paper on that day and thus, will be celebrating at MBS during the weekend, nonetheless, still looking forward to the day of celebration!

One of those days we went to IKEA to get a cabinet to store my stocks. Bought 2 sets instead as I wanted to stack the stocks vertical upwards to increase more space for my room. Moreover, more of our manufactured designs are arriving soon so its time to save some space for it before it gets messy again. Its time to pack the stocks neatly probably I will do it tonight before school reopens.

Tomorrow, I will be going for my dental appointment during lunch time and this time round, I’m kind of worried. Hope everything is fine and my teeth are not that weak.

It’s a brand new week again!

I feel extremely tired for the past few days ever since I came back from HCM. I think I need at least 2-3 days of ample rest at home before I start work. Nonetheless, I managed to do up another new collection last night, spent like approximately 4-5 hours editing the collage and drafting the entry. For the recent sales post, I’m thankful that I received help from my sis and mum helping me to pack the parcels at wee hours of the night, just in time to mail all the parcels on Saturday!

As for the latest collection, all parcels will be mailed out on tue morning ya :)

I’m feeling Monday blue and its back to work again. Yet another weekend is over. Time really flies during the weekend but not during working hours. -.-

Good food to share here :)

Been to this authentic thai food place located at Kovan last Saturday for dinner. Finally, we managed to persuade ourselves to queue up; apparently there is always queue even at 5pm in the evening. The prices are really reasonable as compared to those restaurants rates. Most importantly, the food is simply luscious! Go try it if you are staying around this area!

We ordered Thai Mango Salad for our appetizer, Chicken wrapped with pandan leaves, Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Kang Kong served with Balachan, Pineapple Rice and a plate of chicken serve with braised meat sauce I guess? Can’t remember the exact name but it’s nice!

Oh ya do also remember to try the Thai Milk Tea! We queue for a total of 30 mins to be seated down and the service there is really good.

Our bill came up to only 41 bucks!

I will be meeting my sis after work for photo shoot and to view more samples for our manufactured designs! My sis brought all the fedoras that I managed to buy it from HCM for photo shoot later. I can’t wait to see her wearing those lovely hats. It’s going to be a long day for me before I can hit the sacks tonight.

Salon Vim

Finally managed to fork out some time to visit Salon Vim for a hair dye + highlight :)
Initially wanted to choose ash brown for the base and slightly lighter ash brown for the highlight.
John Tham, the hair stylist recommend me to try a new color base - reddish brown and ash brown for the highlight for contrast to suit my skin tone.

Decided to go ahead with his recommendations since he is so highly raved by so many bloggers!

Yay! the results turn out pretty good and i love the highlight especially :)

My sister went to do perming! A second attempt and she is so excited to see the after-results.
Now i can't wait for the next photo shoot, say goodbye to her straight hair! haha~
