First Trip to Taipei (19/05 to 24/05) - Day One

Hello everyone! Its been quite a while since my last update here! :(

There will be no new launch this week as i haven got the time to go for a shoot, so new collection will be up by next week! Photoshoot will be on coming Monday instead! :)

Stay tuned to it cos all the new arrivals are damn awesome, lots of colorblock designs this time round, so you will expect many designs in bold colors in the next collection! <3

I went for a holiday trip last week with my bf's family to Taipei! Its a 6 days 5 nights trip and we booked the whole travelling package via agency at People Park Complex. Each pax cost about 800 bucks including accommodation @ East Dragon Hotel located at Xi Men Ding.

The 6 days in Taipei was splendid with no rain! I ended up with many many boxes of mask and approx 20 designs new clothes plus 15 new pairs of shoes for my sister and me to fill my luggage space! :DD
oopss, i have to admit i used 2 luggages to fill up my loots, 1 is not enough! so thanks dear for your empty luggage! <3

Its a morning flight and we reached airport @ about 4.30am! Feeling sleepy and yet at the same time, feeling excited about it!

Pictures taken with the huge Harrod's bear at airport!
I bet many of you will take a pic with him while waiting for boarding! teehee! :D

Worn a round neckline with cap sleeves pleated maxi dress which will be released in the next collection!

Available in Navy Blue, Heather Grey and Olive Green! :D

In the plane :)

My new OPI nail color in Green

We reached Taipei at about 1plus in the noon!

Went to retrieve our luggage first before we head to purchase the prepaid sim card!

In order to stay contacted with your loved ones, its a must get when you came to taiwan cos the price is so affordable and i'm able to tweet and upload pictures to FB on the go! :D

plus you can wadapp those pictures to your friends to confirm their loots!

I opted for the 5 days unlimited 3G data usage and it comes along with 6 mins overseas calls to SG!

Our travel package comes with free bus transport to hotel ! The Orange Bus!

We stayed at East Dragon Hotel, !

Its located conveniently at Ximending shopping area and its a 5-10mins walk to Ximen station.

The people at the front desk is very friendly and they will give recommendations on where to go if you approach them! :)

Breakfast served every morning is the same - Eggs, ham, bread, orange juice and a choice of green tea or red tea.

Definitely going back to stay again! thumbs up! :)

There is also a hot and cold water dispenser in the lift lobby area!

The first store we will by pass every morning

Bitter Gourd juice - yucksss! not to my liking! :(
I don't even dare to try a sip

Mango Ice is damn nice! must try!

We were damn hungry by that time and we stopped by one of the nearest eateries!

Oyster Omelette - ordered 2 plates of it becos its too nice!

Shredded Chicken Noodle

Braised Pork Rice (Ru Rou Fan!)
My favourite of all!

Streets of Xi Men Ding

I went to change to this polka dot dress after that!

Taken at the platform

Headed to 龍山寺 first before we start our shopping!

Stopped at Long Shan Temple MRT Station, only 1 stop from Xi Men station

Reminds me of Chinatown haha

Next, we headed to Taipei Underground Market (台北地下街) for shopping!

This is one of my favourite shoe store and i bought most of my shoes there!

Taiwan shoes are normally priced at NT 390 = approx $17 with really good quality!
Heard from my friend it will take at least half a year for the shoe to wear and tear, unlike shoes from singapore! boooo

A candid picture of my back view

I DUNNO WHICH PAIR TO CHOOSE!
hahaha All the designs are so nice and i bought similar pairs with different colors -__-"

Next, headed to find this store which sells Beef Noodles

It was approx 6 plus in the evening and its time to head to Shilin Night Market (士林夜市)!

Shilin is the largest night market in Taipei and you can alight at Jiantan Station (劍潭站).

One of the best Mee Sua at Shilin, with oysters in it!

This is different from Ah Zhong Mee Sua as there's no oysters but pig intestines!
I ate one of it and its soft and chewy!

We went pass this store that sells snake blood! It gave me goosebumps when i see the snakes.
Eeeeek!!

Carnival games such as balloon shooting, shooting marbles etc

We are extremely tired after walking for a couple of hours since its the first day we touched down plus we didn't get to sleep well in the plane.

So we headed back to Xi men and back to our hotel to rest.

Alright!! that's the end of Day one!

Can't wait to blog about day 2! We headed to Hello Kitty Sweets for lunch and We Fen Pu!

I will be back! :D

Love,
Jamie
