Went to participate this Christmas Party held by company to help those children with intellectual disability at MINDSVILLE! Its pretty near my place.
This party is to bring cheers to the less fortunate and needy children during this festive season.
So, we were told to report at our office downstairs @ 2pm with transport provided for us :)
The good thing is its during office hours!
Reached Mindsville at about 2.30pm, settle down for a short briefing, guidelines for the volunteers and pairing up with little ones. My pairing kid is a very cute and naughty little Malay boy.
We distribute the goodie bags to the kids, playing games, and some magic performance for them and i can see that all the kids are really happy and excited!
So here's a picture of our manager presenting the cheque to Mindsville as a donation :)
Next, we were told to proceed to their respective beds and change a new set of bed sheet for them.
I feel very sad for them as they didn't have any existing bed sheet but those hard cover for them to sleep on.

Didn't regret participating this event as i came to realize how fortunate we are today as compared to them.
So, a note to myself, be happy what you have now, never ask for more :)
